This is Sweetie; the spider monkey who has recently lost her closest spider monkey friend, Winkie. She is very lonely and relies on the people who visit the sanctuary for love and attention. Help out Sweetie by donating so we can find her a new best friend!

Osa Peninsula Wildlife Sanctuary

“Living wild species are like a library of books still unread. Our heedless destruction of them is akin to burning that library without ever having read its books.”
― John Dingell

The Osa Wildlife Sanctuary is an impactful animal oasis set in Piedras Blancas National Park, just across the water from Puerto Jiménez on the Osa Peninsula. In this sanctuary, staff and volunteers dedicate their days to creating a suitable environment that will allow the injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife species of Costa Rica to recover and rehabilitate with the best care possible.

Help the sanctuary out by donating!
So many animals come to us with special needs. Your dollars help us care for many animals that would otherwise not survive.

Your support allows us to feed, rehabilitate and sometimes release healthy animals back into the wild. We spend many hours

ensuring that all our animals have proper nutrition and the best life possible, but this is not possible without your much-needed

support.
